ILLINOIS RIVER RANCH consists of 3,600 acres and is comprised of just over 1,200 individual tracts, ranging in size from a minimum of 2.5 acres to a maximum of 5.0 acres each. The development is located south and east of the Chewey Bridge, about halfway between Tahlequah, OK and Siloam Springs, AR. Deer and just about any wildlife you can imagine wander throughout the development, and fishing and swimming in the Illinois River are favorite pastimes for many of our residents.  A portion of the development is adjacent to the 15,000 acre Nature Conservancy game preserve (land formerly owned by the Tate Family). The clubhouse on top of Hogshooter Bluff you see when driving in the Main Entry at the Chewey Bridge is part of the half-mile riverfront park area for the property owners and their guests. We also have float trips on the river, camping, fishing and a small RV park with full hookups for owners and their guests to use on a temporary basis. We have a mix of both site-built and modular/mobile homes and “tiny homes”. You could have a neighbor on the adjacent lot and probably never see each other for the trees! We currently have about 55 to 60 families that live here year-round (and now adding more all the time), but most property owners just use it for the recreational activities. Our ILLINOIS RIVER RANCH Property Owner’s Association dues to maintain the roads and facilities are currently only $12/month.
